The Gentleman

The Gentleman is a game about a gentleman...But this is no ordinary gentleman. The Gentleman is quite obsessed with finding his monocle. Not any monocle will do, however. On the Gentleman's journey he must collect as many monocles as possible, because the more monocles he finds, the more likely one of them will be his right? The Gentleman must travel between lamps to achieve his ultimate goal.Throughout the game, players will run, jump, and fall through increasingly difficult levels in search of the Gentleman's monocle. Depending on your path, blocks will have different effects like falling out from underneath the Gentleman or only appearing in the shadows.Will the Gentleman keep his sanity?Will you keep your sanity?There are several additions to The Gentleman...● The Gentleman is now FREE!!!● The Adventurer Pack is now available for purchase!!!● The Adventurer Pack unlocks the Map and the Compass.● The Map button displays an onscreen map that moves with the Gentleman and warns of any erous blocks that may be nearby. The map will help players by showing them a larger area that may lead them toward the second lamp or hidden areas.The map appears in the background during normal play and in the Pause Menu for players to study.● The Compass displays a group of arrows that surround the Gentleman. The arrows point toward the various hidden monocles respectively and to the second lamp within a given level.● Pause functionality is now functional. Tap on the top of the screen to bring up the pause menu. From here you can toggle Sound options, the Map, the Compass, and the Level Select. If you leave the app, the game will automatically pause so that you know longer have to worry about the Gentleman jaunting to his doom.● Added a preview of the Adventurer Pack in the Tutorial Level so that players can try it before they buy it.● Many levels have been rebalanced to make the Gentleman's journey not as impossible.● Minor tweaks have been made to ensure that the Gentleman does not get stuck inside of switch blocks.● Streamlined the menus and monocle collection.● Adjusted the tutorial language and updated the Tutorial Legend.
