A different classic word game.Make as many points possible within a given time period by eliminating words from a grid of letters which gradually drop from above. Words must be three to seven letters in length.Wordrapt consists of many levels increasing in difficulty. Player advances to the next level by achieving the level point goal. Player loses a life if the time period expires before reaching the goal. Game ends when the player has no lives left.Other Scramble-type games require adjoining letters to be selected contiguously (horizontally, vertically, and diagonally). WordRapt is unique in that it *also* allows the player to trace back over previously selected tiles. Player is therefore able to form many more words than by the traditional method. Much easier than it sounds. Very fun.Game sounds and bonus tiles give WordRapt an arcade feel. Drop hearts to get extra lives, drop clocks to get more time. Increase your score best by dropping point bonus tiles. Point bonus tiles come in four different themes basis player preferences--Points, Fruits, Android Snacks, and Orchestral Instruments.Rules for valid words are similar to those for Scrabble® (i.e. no proper nouns, no abbreviations, etc.). Blank tiles are wild--may be used for any letter. Longer words provide best payoffs.There are two background music preferences--relax with Bach, excite with Pinball Spring. Select the color that suits you best. Choose from five different tile fonts. Change the tile size. Several other options are available to fit your individuality best.Features four difficulties, including 'Laid Back' (no timer). High scores may be sorted by rank, player name, score, or date. Multiple games may be saved/restored.
