Getting it right on the first try is worth 5 stars. Every time you guess it wrong, the value will go down by a star. You can use stars to buy hints. When you first start playing, you'll only be able to see the first ten Stinky Pinkies - but don't worry, later levels will unlock as you earn more stars.
