Math Game for Adults

**There are now 4 games you can play: Classic PhuTAri, Complex Number Workout, Geometry Puzzles, and Chromation**All of the games can be played by anyone with a pretty standard mathematics education. Nothing beyond what is taught in most United States high schools is required. Select the "Help" menu option for each game to see examples, rules, and math refreshers. *****************************************************************************PhuTAri is a very interesting game of mathematical reasoning requiring deep thinking and analytical skills to succeed. The rules are deceptively simple: distribute the generated numbers among the blue cells, by dragging and dropping, so that each blue cell has the same product. Easier said than done. Winning the game boils down to making sure each blue cell has an equal amount of each prime factor. You do this by looking at the "Factors" tab, which contains the prime factorizations (list of prime numbers forming a given product) of every generated number, and using logic to maintain the correct balance of prime factors among the blue cells. *****************************************************************************The Complex Number Workout Game is great for anyone who is either learning about complex numbers in school or anyone who likes math and wants more of a challenge than the countless basic arithmetic games on Android. There are two modes: Mental and Calculator. Mental mode will ask questions that you should be able to do in your head with some practice, for example (57 + 18i) - (31 - 16i) and (3 + 6i)x(7 - 2i). Calculator mode will ask questions that generally require a calculator to answer, for example, convert (7 + 6i) to polar form. *****************************************************************************The Geometry Puzzles are designed to be short, creative, and fun. They're great tests of problem solving ability for both students and anyone else looking to challenge their mind.*****************************************************************************Chromation is a visual and engaging algebra game based on color mixing. Your job is to solve a series of "color equations" using set rules such as Red + Green = Yellow. You will be asked to solve equations like Blue + Magenta + ? = White.*****************************************************************************For the Complex Number Game, Chromation, and Classic PhuTAri, you can compete in the Global Challenge when you think you're ready. The internet permission requirement is for the optional global challenge and for the geometry puzzle images that come from the website.
