Heart Invaders

Alien hearts have discovered that we humans are abusing our own hearts and have decided to rescue their Earth-born brethren. Our only defense?? Junk Food!! This is a Space Invaders style game with multiple types of junk food that you sling at the invading hearts by swiping the food from the plate and toward the relentless enemy. Throw enough junk food at them and they will die of - what else - a heart attack.This game was built in 48 hours as part of Global Game Jam 2013 (St. Louis). The world-wide theme was - well - the sound of a beating heart.
