All data communication is done directly through peer-to-peer communication, so no data is tranitted to any servers. This means no registration required, no accounts linkage required, no internet required. Just connect to the same wi-fi or tether your wi-fi to play. Your phone does NOT need data connection to tether. To ensure absolutely no data to network (switch off your data connection before tethering <- this will remove the ads as well).
