世界观设定

在距离地球数千万光年外有颗几乎被液体覆盖的星球，由于所属星系的特殊环境，星球的南北半球分别形成了不同颜色的海洋。在众多海洋生物中衍化出了一种由液体细胞构成的类人生物，他们分为南北半球两色族群主宰了星球，并发展出了高度文明。

在漫长的历史中，南北液体星人为了吞并对方进行了无数场惨烈的战争，最终于星潮元年达成和解，共同在赤道上利用太阳能建立了庞大的城市群，进入和平时代。

城市群由巨型人造浮岛相连而成，其中最大的浮岛叫做星潮之城，是星球最繁华的地方。在星潮之城的中心高耸着一座外形酷似棕榈树的巨塔，塔顶由一片片巨型叶片构成，通过吸收太阳能为城市带来了无尽的能源。除了提供能源外，巨塔还是举办星潮竞技赛决赛的赛场。

星潮竞技赛是星球上一年一度的盛事，参赛选手以三人为小队，分别以南北半球海洋的颜色为代表进行不同规则的淘汰赛。赢得大赛冠军是星球上最荣耀的事情，所有液体星人都梦想着成为Paint Star。

[涂色技能]

作为一款竞技游戏，Paint Star最大特色就是围绕“涂色技能”展开的博弈。

长按“涂色技能”角色会进入强化涂色状态，该状态下角色的移速、回血以及涂色效率都会直接加强。需要注意的是涂色技能在己方颜色地盘之外使用会迅速消耗能量。

[攻击强化]

处于强化涂色状态超过一段时间，可以增强下一次攻击的效果，不同角色的增强效果不同，可以累积增强的次数也不同，利用好“攻击强化”是在对战中克敌制胜的高阶技巧。

[涂色BUFF]

在对战中涂色面积占比越大的一方，就能获得更高的攻击加成BUFF。

游戏模式

[据点争夺]

游戏每隔一段时间战场上会随机生成1-3个圆形据点，每轮生成的据点都有固定结算周期。在据点结算时，据点内涂色面积占比较多的一方获得分数，率先获得100分的队伍获胜。

[平台护送]

战场上分布一条对称路线，路线的中心点为平台据点，路线两端为双方目标终点。玩家处于平台之上时，平台会自动往该玩家目标终点移动，率先将平台移动至目标终点方获胜。如时间内双方无法将平台送达，则进入加时，加时阶段占据平台且进度领先方获胜。
