Ski Journey is an alpine ski tracking app with many advanced features. Of course, it also works for snowboard, Telemark, etc.Main features:- GPS Ski Tracking occurs in a service: it won't be interrupted if you navigate out of the application or turn the screen off.- You can add the name of the ski area where you are. - Each segment of your day (lift or run) can be identified by name.- You get complete stats (altitude, max speed, max slope, duration, etc.) for the complete day and for each segment.- Easily share the summary of your journey online.- At your next visit to the same area, the app will try to automatically identify your runs; you can also edit this info afterward.- Tracking data is stored in a local database: you can see your tracks on map and access all your stats for as long as the app is installed.- A special algorithm ignores bad GPS data and only considers the most accurate signal from your phone.Note: the accuracy of all tracking data depends on your phone GPS, not all phones are equal... Note that the slope calculation is still especially sloppy. I'm trying to make the best of it.This is the first version... many other features will be announced soon.NOTE: THIS VERSION IS LIMITED TO 5 SAVED JOURNEYS.
