While sitting on a Sydney train one day, I was getting quite frustrated with the guy in front of me who was solving a Sudoku puzzle, ever so slowly. I decided enough was enough, write an app that allows anyone to load, play and solve a Sudoku puzzle in a matter of seconds, but typically milliseconds :)
